Mama!
It's time to shift and pivot or "shivot," a word I just made up, our thinking so that we can change how we think about nutrition.
Too often, we are stuck in a rut of bad nutritional thinking that is causing us pain, heartache and frustration. When you work with me, I ask you to leave those misconceptions at the door and "shivot" your mindset so that you can learn about sound nutritional values!
Jim Kwik shares about 4 steps that will help you learn F.A.S.T.er and I want to share his method with you because it was so helpful for me!
He uses the acronym F.A.S.T., which I love because who doesn't want to learn fast? haha
F: Forget
Forget what you already know - be open to learning something new instead of thinking you know it all. Forget situational things - stop multi-tasking and you'll learn much faster! Forget your limitations - in order to shed them you have to stop clinging to them!
A: Active
Be an active learner! Take the knowledge you've been given and put it into action! When you have to DO the things you're learning, you make steps towards your goal.
S: State
State means your state of mind, or a "snapshot of your mood, the emotional well-being that you feel in that exact moment," according to Jim Kwik. Choose your state of mind so that you can retain more information
T: Teach
There is a reason I tell you to take what you've learned from me and to teach it to your kids, because when you teach what you've learned, you learn it better! You absorb more and understand more when you teach it to others!
What part of F.A.S.T. do you need to work on more? What "shivots" can you make so that you can become the person you want to be?
If you are ready to do just that and SHIVOT to a new way of thinking and living... Let's chat, Schedule a Free Discovery Session here: http://bit.ly/DiscoverySessionKmore
